OUR EVOLUTION
The Hereford United Supporters Trust held it’s Launch Party on August 29th, 2013 at the Starlite Rooms at Hereford United. Over 200 fans attended the event that had guest speakers in the likes of club legends Gareth Davies and Colin Addison, and Kevin Rye of Supporters Direct.
Defined Aims and Objectives
To provide a strong, pro-active, and independent voice for all supporters of Hereford Football Club.
To hold regular, open, public meetings to canvass opinion.
To consider and seek opportunities to represent the views of the wider football supporters community
To raise awareness of the Trust
To raise funds to support achieving the aims and objectives of the Trust

Our Community
Hereford “United Supporters” Trust – Community Partners
HUST is a Not For Profit supporter organisation that wish to look for Community Partners to help it deliver on its vision and cement itself fully at the heart of the community.
We would like to work with our community partners to promote the work and aims of HUST whilst also via our members and pathways promote the aims of our partners.
HUST Vision:
Represent all supporters as largest single shareholder in Hereford FC
Partner Hereford FC and provide 3 HND members to the HFC Board
Have strong roots within the local community
Fundraising to purchase a 50% shareholding (289,000 shares) in Hereford FC by 31 March 2020
Work with the club to ensure long term viable and sustainable financial performance
Encourage home grown talent via the youth player pathway Hereford FC Academy
Assist in developing facilities at Edgar Street into a 1st class Community Stadium
Delivery of the vision by:
Active engagement with members, supporters, and the wider community
Maximise the potential of ownership and management
Work with the club to ensure long-term viable and sustainable financial performance
Encourage homegrown talent via the youth player pathway, Hereford FC Academy
Assist in developing facilities at Edgar Street into a 1st class Community Stadium

RICHARD TOMKINS
CHAIR & FSA REPRESENTATIVE
Richard first attended Edgar Street with his father in 1963. A fan ever since, he became chair of HUISA 1998-2000. Subsequently taking the chair of HUST after its re-emergence in 2016, he is now in his second spell as its chairman. Richard stresses the importance of fan ownership, football at Edgar Street and links between supporters throughout football. He is currently on the FSA National Council as a representative of the National Game.

Asset of Community Value
AVC
An Asset of Community Value (ACV) is land or buildings nominated by a local voluntary or community group and which the council decides meets the requirements to be listed as an asset of community value.
In January 2024, the Hereford United Supporters’ Trust made an application to Herefordshire Council to renew the listing of Edgar Street Athletic Ground as an Asset of Community Value under the Localism Act of 2011.

In October 2018, the Hereford United Supporters’ Trust made an application to Herefordshire Council to renew the listing of Edgar Street Athletic Ground as an Asset of Community Value under the Localism Act of 2011.
HUST is pleased to announce that its application to renew Edgar Street Athletic Ground as an Asset of Community Value has been approved.
Trust chairman, Richard Tomkins, say “Edgar Street is our home. Every supporter tells me this. The trust is delighted to act as the catalyst to keep it so.”
Following notifications, the nomination is now published on Herefordshire Council’s website where it will remain for 5 years.

In October 2013, the Hereford United Supporters’ Trust made an application to Herefordshire Council to list Edgar Street Athletic Ground as an Asset of Community Value under the Localism Act of 2011.
Herefordshire Council accepted the application in December 2013, meaning the ground is now listed for the next five years. More details on the ACV process can be found on the Council website:
